The Melcor REIT leadership team has significant depth with over 500 years of combined real estate experience. Supported by a strong board of trustees, we are committed to good stewardship and solid governance practices. With our exceptional people, and our experienced leadership team, our work continues to set the industry standard in property and asset management.
Management
The REIT’s management team is employed by Melcor Developments. Through asset and property management agreements, the Melcor team provides signature customer care to the REIT’s tenants and manages our properties for long-term asset appreciation.
Andy J. Melton
Chief Executive Officer & Trustee
Andrew J. Melton is a respected business and community leader with over three decades of experience in commercial real estate and he was instrumental in the formation of the REIT. He has been a member of Melcor’s board of directors since 1985. Mr. Melton began his career in 1978 with Graeme Young & Associates and retired as a partner from Avison Young, a full-service commercial real estate company, in 2010.
Naomi Stefura
Chief Financial Officer
Naomi Stefura is a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years of experience. She has been Chief Financial Officer of Melcor and the REIT since 2016 and was appointed EVP of Melcor in 2021 and COO of Melcor in 2023. Ms. Stefura was previously Melcor's Vice President of Finance and, prior to that, Melcor's Controller. Ms. Stefura holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and a Masters of Professional Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan.
Trustees
Strong governance practices lay the foundation for the REIT’s sustainability and long-term value creation for our unitholders. Our board of trustees is comprised of business leaders from a variety of industries, each bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience. The majority of trustees are independent.
Carolyn Graham
Independent
Carolyn Graham is a Corporate Director. She retired as Senior Executive Vice President of Canadian Western Bank in 2022, serving as Chief Financial Officer from 2014 to 2020, and Chief Risk Officer from 2020 to 2021. She holds FCPA and FCA designations from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta, an ICD.D from the Institute of Corporate Directors, and an ESG Certificate from Competent Boards.

Richard Kirby
Independent
Richard Kirby is President & Co-founder, Midnight Integrated Financial Inc.
Richard co-founded Midnight Integrated Financial Inc. in
2016. Midnight carries on a broad range of innovative
financial businesses from private equity to foreign exchange
and derivative trading.
Richard was a partner with Felesky Flynn LLP since 2002 and
was managing partner from 2010 - 2017 when he left the
firm.
He is a director of several private and charitable
organizations. Richard received his MBA from Cornell
University, his LLB, Tax from Dalhousie University and a BSc
from the University of Alberta.

Bernie Kollman, ICD.D
Independent
Ms. Kollman is a dedicated Edmonton region community builder and currently serves on the Boards of Edmonton Global, Arrkann Trailer & RV Centre and as a forum Chair of MacKay CEO Forums, a peer mentoring group. Previously, Bernie served as Board Chair of Travel Alberta, the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce, as board member of Compute Canada, the United Way and Alcanna, a public company. Bernie retired from IBM Canada where she served as vice president of the public sector business in Alberta and senior executive for Edmonton.

Larry Pollock
Independent
Larry Pollock retired from Canadian Western Bank in 2013 after serving as Chief Executive Officer for over 20 years. Since his retirement, he has sat on a number of public company boards, including WestJet Airlines Ltd., HNZ Group Inc. and EPCOR Utilities Inc. Larry received the Canadian Business Leader award from the Alberta School of Business in 2015.

Ralph B. Young
Ralph Young was the Chancellor of the University of Alberta from 2012 - 2016 and retired as Melcor Development’s Chief Executive Officer in 2013. Ralph received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alberta in 1973. He serves on the boards of several public, private and not-for-profit organizations.
